Conomurex (Strombus) luhuanus - cone fencer snail



The swordtail snail Conomurex luhuanus (an obsolete synonym is Strombus luhuanus) is a larger sand-digging snail and a good addition to the Cleaning Crew as it is said to eat both detritus and problems such as cyanobacteria and bristle worms.
Although its shell looks very similar to that of cone snails, it is not closely related to them and is not poisonous, but completely harmless.
