 Because the Pacific white-throated surgeonfish ( Acanthurus leucosternon ) is considered very sensitive , it is reserved for experienced aquarists. The animals require stable water conditions , a good UV system and a tank of at least 1200 liters . The white-throated surgeonfish grows up to 30 cm in size and eats algae as well as frozen, granulated and flake food .
